What documents do I need for verification?
The exact documents depend on which country you're sending from.
Australia (sending from AU)
We follow AUSTRAC's "safe harbour" standard, which requires two independent data sources that together confirm your name, date of birth, and residential address.
In practice this usually means:
- A government-issued photo ID — most commonly an Australian driver's licence or passport.
- A second supporting document — for example, another photo ID (a passport in addition to your driver's licence) or a recent document showing your current residential address (utility bill, bank statement, council notice, etc.).
If you use our online (Persona) flow, it walks you through capturing the photo ID and a selfie — and asks for any additional document it needs. If you use the offline upload path, you'll be asked to upload your ID (front and back) and a separate proof-of-address document.
Indonesia (sending from ID)
For customers sending from Indonesia, you'll need either:
- A valid KTP (Kartu Tanda Penduduk), or
- A valid Indonesian passport.
File requirements (offline upload)
If you're uploading documents rather than using the live biometric flow, each file must be:
- A clear, readable photo or scan
- Under 5 MB
- A JPEG, PNG, or PDF
Make sure all four corners of each document are visible and that nothing is obscured by glare.
