Will I get the same exchange rate back if I cancel or get refunded?

Not necessarily.

• If you cancel a "New" transfer (or its quote expires): nothing has been converted yet, and the funded amount stays in your Automatcher wallet in AUD. No FX impact.
• If your transfer is refunded after processing (e.g. the destination bank returned it): the destination bank returns funds in the destination currency, and we convert them back to AUD at the rate available when we receive them. If the exchange rate has moved between sending and refund, you may receive more or less than you originally paid.

This is standard across international money transfers — no provider can hold a quoted rate indefinitely.
