How do I create an account?
Creating a Kangaroo Service account takes a couple of minutes. The flow is different depending on where you're sending from.
Australia (self-serve dashboard)
- Go to our online dashboard at online.kangaroo-service.com/sign-up and enter your email address and a password.
- Check your inbox for our verification email and click the link inside. The link is valid for 24 hours — unverified accounts are removed after that, and you can simply sign up again with the same email if you miss the window.
- Once verified, sign in and complete your profile: personal info, address, and domicile (country you live in). All three are required before you can start identity verification.
- After your profile is complete, choose how you'd like to verify your identity. See What documents do I need for verification? for what to have ready.
Indonesia (call centre)
Indonesia transfers are placed through our call centre rather than the online dashboard. You don't need to register an account up front — contact us and our team will set everything up with you, including identity verification. Indonesian self-serve sign-up is on our roadmap.
Costs
You don't need to deposit any money to sign up, and there's no fee for creating an account. You only pay our transfer fee — and even that is often $0 — when you actually send money. See our transfer fees and pricing for the current schedule.
